Autoimmune Progesterone Dermatitis

Autoimmune progesterone dermatitis (APD) is an immune reaction to endogenous progesterone that can follow exposure to exogenous progesterone. Skin eruption develops cyclically during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle when progesterone levels are elevated.
